Just as the book continues its journey to a new home,the materials around it can also be part of a gentle cycle.With that thought in mind, I wrapped it carefully, one step at a time. Received a custom made order of Takuhatsu-gasa with black patches. I am not sure why the clothes needed for Takuhatsugasa, but might be enforcements. 黒い布付きの托鉢笠の注文が入ったので作業中。 この黒い布はどういう意味があるのか、わからないけどたぶん補強のためかと。 黒い布は托鉢笠の縁と、天辺、それから笠の腹の三か所につける 円形のものにつけるのでところどころでタックをとりながら細かく縫い付けて行く。 托鉢僧の皆様がご無事で托鉢をできますように・・・ To sew the cloth onto a circular form, I carefully stitched it while making small tucks here and there.
