In Japan, compulsory education begins at age 7 in elementary and junior high school, and in most high schools, calligraphy classes are held for at least one year.
My daughter's calligraphy lessons have finished, so she no longer needs the supplies, and I received them from her.
My daughter's inkstone is state-of-the-art (!) – the front is for grinding ink, and the back is plastic. You can use liquid ink with it.
Apparently, my daughter didn't use much ink in her classes, so I think I'll use this one when my current inkstone runs out.

The gacha figure I was using as a brush rest and the small cup as the water pitcher didn't fit in the strage box.
