Dandelion Puff

So, here's a photo after a few weeks. I have just checked how do we say this in English, Dandelion puff, dandelion clock. I recently learned about the expression “Dandelion Clock,” and it was the first time I had heard it.
In English-speaking countries, children sometimes blow on a dandelion puff and count how many seeds remain. The number left is said to tell the time, which is why it is called a “Dandelion Clock.”
In Japan, we have a similar kind of flower fortune-telling, but we do it a little differently. Instead of blowing the seeds, we pick the petals one by one while saying “yes” or “no,” and the meaning of the last petal becomes the answer.
I think it is fascinating that people in different countries have their own gentle little ways of asking flowers for answers. Nat
