ALL HAND SEWN
The floral pattern is inspired by the legendary 18th-century Japanese artist Ogata Korin, a master of the Rinpa school. His signature style, known as "Korin-ume" (Korin Plum), is celebrated for its modern and minimalist aesthetic. Instead of detailed petals, the blossoms are rendered in charming, rounded shapes without outlines, creating a look that remains stylish and "kawaii" even today.
I choose this lovely floral Korin style plum blossom fabric and same colour shade blue fabrics. Especially, white ground Tsumubi tough silk is really beautiful Kirie (cutting silhouette) -like dyeing, like Bingata.
The scrunchie is now patiently waiting to be welcomed to new home :-)
