The mani fabric's pattern is "SHIPPOU" , one of Japanese traditional pattern. Shippou is written as 7 treasures, which are from Buddhist scriptures,  gold, silver, Lapis Lazuli,  Crystal or Glass, Coral, Agate, and Giant Clam Shell/ Tridacna shell.
