Making a Tokin , new project

Tokin is a Small black headgear of Yamabushi and or Tengu wear

So the other day, a customer asked us if I sold something like Tokin, the headgear for Yamabushi Costume.The ones out there were way too expensive, so I thought, “Why not just make it myself?” — and I went for it.

The real one is usually made with fabric and Urushi lacquered, but I tried a simpler approach: I layered paper to make the inside sturdy and covered the outside with wallpaper for home decor.
