Fukusuke-san and I Match Now

Yesterday, I finally spent some time in my Attic- my creative space - again. While I was there, I noticed something unexpected.

I found a stain on Fukusuke-san sitting on my desk.

Fukusuke-san and I Match now.

It must be kakishibu.

I bought him some time ago at a temporary market held in a local supermarket. He is not only a decoration but also a desk calendar. There is a small table beside him and a tray in front of him where wooden cube blocks can be rearranged to display the date.

When I looked closely, I noticed a small brown stain on his face. Since I've been working with kakishibu lately, I suspect a drop must have splashed onto him at some point.

At first, I felt a little sorry for him. Then I remembered that I've recently started noticing a few age spots of my own.

So now Fukusuke-san and I match.
