A Little Taste of Summer

My family brought home these limited-edition jelly drinks from KFC the other day.

I wonder if KFC overseas also has colorful seasonal drinks like these. Somehow they feel very fun and playful.

The blue one was “Blue Hawaii” flavor — though honestly, I always wonder what “Blue Hawaii flavor” is actually supposed to taste like.The red one was cranberry flavor.

To be honest, I wouldn’t say they were amazingly delicious… but I think limited seasonal items are sometimes more about enjoying the feeling of “only available now.”

Just seeing the bright blue and red colors together felt very summery, and I ended up taking a photo.

Little playful things like these cheer me up.
